About the role

You will be responsible for accounting and month end reporting procedures, ensuring high standards and full compliance with local laws and corporate planning.

As well as covering all traditional accounting practices, such as reconciliations, managing cash flow, forecasts, tax and budget preparations, this role assists in stock takes, provides back-up to Supply Chain and works as part of the broader Admin team.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial analyses and reports
  • Prepare revenue projections and expenditure forecasts
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
  • Prepare and file GST, FBT and NRWT returns
  • Contribute to the S4 Hana implementation process
  • Perform other accounting duties and support finance team as required or assigned

What you’ll bring to the role

  • A proactive approach and a desire to learn
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce
  • 2 years’ experience working in a commercial environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advance Excel and well versed in SAP
  • Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
